Is Gaga bisexual?

I remember, in a recent 2013 magazine interview, she was pretty adamant about being bisexual. It was definitely in response to several outlets' erasure of sexuality imo.

She's definitely more leaning towards men, but that doesn't make her not bisexual, you know?

I believe she's bisexual but I do think bierasure gets to her sometimes and because she's het-passing the way she identifies varies. In the same speech she said "our community" so it's possible she believes she's an ally to the gay community while still being an outsider due to bisexuality. As a bi woman myself, I know how isolating this community can be even though that should NEVER be the case. Who's to say? I don't think she lied about her sexuality but I admit I'd be angry at her if she did. I also believe her sexuality can be super fluid at times because although there's obvious interest in women, there are times she's clearly more into men. Even though she's never had a relationship with women in the way she has men I'd never rule that out. You never know. Regardless, I hope she feels comfortable attaching herself to the bisexual label the way she once did soon and doesn't worry about biphobes.

I just went through this thread and wow the biphobia is really something else. These are suppose to be her fans too. I can't imagine what Gaga deals with on a regular basis from those around her and the media. Yikes.

The subject was also addressed by a member on this forum but as we do with controversial issues that threaten to trigger our cognitive dissonance, it was quickly swept under the rug   Some users ganged up on the member, because the comment was "out of place".  I partly agree, but it wasn't more inappropriate than some gifs I saw in that thread but apparently those aren't frowned upon.

Many people criticized her for exploiting the LGBT community, which I personally think is a ridiculous claim. But do you think Gaga would be capable of going to extremes to get rid of those accusations?

I personally believe people's sexuality can change, even though many consider it to be conflicting with the concept of "sexuality is not a choice". But it isn't and to use a more familiar example, it's not even contradictory to the message of "Born This Way".

What do you think? Why was Gaga's choice of words so tenous and strange? I'm interested in what you have to say.

Refrain from turning this thread into a cesspit with comments like "Lady Gaga is a character" or "this is just part of her David Bowie tribute".

No one is 100% straight or gay.

 

And lol no, she wasn't using that 'label' for popularity.

I'm 100% straight I might appreciate a gal choking down a big'n in **** every once in a while but that don't make me gay but in reality I bet Stef with be faithful in a monogamous relationship with whoever her "wittle" heart desires and if she don't... then it still aint none of my business..

Sexuality can be fluid. Many people stransition from straight to questioning to whatever is true to them. 

In this reference I think she was telling she was an ally to Orlando,  but that was my interpretation.

She has referenced being bi on multiple occasions, but like many of my fellow bi friends end up falling in love with a man. Being monogamous may or may not mean that her sexuality has changed. The only ones that will know are her and those closest to her. 

At the end if the day, it doesn't really matter. She is a part of the community that has been standing up for the community for years.

After re-reading the quote I KNOW she is referring to the whole group as allies to Orlando, not straight allies.
