You can be romantically and physically attracted to both sexes. You don't need to have sex to say "I'm straight" or "I'm gay" or "I'm bisexual", you know who you're attracted to and that's something only you really know. The physical act of sex doesn't validate your sexuality. You know who you are no matter if you've had sex or not. And just because she's in a relationship with a straight guy, doesn't mean that she's all of a sudden straight. No, she's still bisexual. That's the point of bisexuality, that you're attracted to both sexes, she would then either be gay or straight. While gay guys may have the physical need to be with other guys, what about the young boy or girl questioning their sexuality? Just because they haven't had sex, are you then going to say "your sexuality is invalid". Bisexuality's not a lie, it's a completely valid sexual orientation and you could also use that argument for gay people, lesbians, transgender people, and just queer people in general. Not only do I think that it's wrong to say that, but it's honestly just 1. Not supportive to the LGBTQ+ community at all, and 2. Very insensitive to people who are bisexual, because you know, they exist. 🦠🧙♀️🥀📸🎉👻🕺🧟💊💖☎️🔪👤🐺🌱🌎

No offense but no girl or woman gets down with other girls or women unless they're bisexual or lesbian Omg The song is about Gaga at the club with her friend, they're 'getting down' aka dancing, on the dance floor, and she sees a guy she's not sure if she ****ed before -she asks her friend if she's seen him at the club before- and then he takes her home. That's why she says 'i wanna just dance but he took me home instead, there was a monster in my bed' I'm not even trying to say gaga is straight but that's not what the song is about at all ...ıllıllı c h e r r y c h e r r y b o o m b o o m ıllıllı... I see the argument of "let's not use labels because we're all human", but we need to also embrace who we are. I mean, gay pride's a thing for a reason, it's to celebrate our different sexual orientations and gender identities. We should embrace them, because we were all born this way. 🦠🧙♀️🥀📸🎉👻🕺🧟💊💖☎️🔪👤🐺🌱🌎

Katie14 4,828
I don't know if she is actually bisexual. She said she felt safer with women after being raped so there may have been a period when she gravitated more towards women because of what happened to her. Sex is more of a want than need anyway. And just because she isn't marry, f*cking or kissing or dating a woman doesn't make her less bisexual or not at all, bisexuality is not a lie- the made up tumblr sexualities are however. Lady Gaga at the Orlando Vigil "[...] myself and so many are your allies." Buzzfeed made an article about Gaga's "Moving Speech" (link below) and people were quick to point out that Gaga is not an ally but part of the LGBTQ community. (For those of you who have been living under a rock, here's a video of Gaga talking about her sexuality) Hide contents But back to the buzzfeed article: One comment even included a hashtag, that unfortunately never took off. (Not sure at whom it was directed though, since Gaga is the one who used the word "ally", in the first place) https://www.buzzfeed.com/jamesharness/lady-gaga-gave-a-moving-speech-about-orlando?utm_term=.mu6d5WJmQ#.vgwydwrqm The subject was also addressed by a member on this forum but as we do with controversial issues that threaten to trigger our cognitive dissonance, it was quickly swept under the rug Some users ganged up on the member, because the comment was "out of place". I partly agree, but it wasn't more inappropriate than some gifs I saw in that thread but apparently those aren't frowned upon. Many people criticized her for exploiting the LGBT community, which I personally think is a ridiculous claim. But do you think Gaga would be capable of going to extremes to get rid of those accusations? I personally believe people's sexuality can change, even though many consider it to be conflicting with the concept of "sexuality is not a choice". But it isn't and to use a more familiar example, it's not even contradictory to the message of "Born This Way". What do you think? Why was Gaga's choice of words so tenous and strange? I'm interested in what you have to say. Refrain from turning this thread into a cesspit with comments like "Lady Gaga is a character" or "this is just part of her David Bowie tribute". I think sexuality is sometimes a personal thing. It isn't always so black and white for people. If she said she's bisexual I don't think she has any reason to lie, so I believe her. I don't think she's ever dated a woman before she said once. It takes the right person. People fall in love with people, but she's getting married to a male, so we may never know I suppose
elijahfan 26,066
I'm fairly sure people are looking way too much into it... I believe she used that word in its primary sense, without thinking of its connotations as part of the LGBTQIA acronym.

Oriane 20,937
I think they call that "bicurious" or something, she said she never fell in love with a woman but was sexually attracted to them. But who knows, anything could happen and she could have feelings for a woman one day.
