Compared to her debut(which other artists whole discography has yet to outsell it) which sold 15 mil and BTW which sold 6 mil, so 2.5 isn't that bad. Oh I agree. 2.5 million albums sold is still an incredible feat! I've made this argument many times myself! If she hadn't had the success she did with BTW, noone would have complained about ARTPOP's sales. She only did 'badly' by her own insane standards. I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin. It's not a flop because of its number, it's a flop because she sold 70%+ less than her previous album It's about her standard of success, not Katy's.
