ReidOne 12,427
Seems like an obvious and silly question to ask on a forum about her, but given all the rampant opinions making the rounds lately, it seems fair to ask. My pop star obsession timeline looks like this: 1994-1996: Paula Abdul 1996-1998: Madonna 1999-2001: Janet Jackson 2002-2007: Kylie Minogue 2008-2016: Lady Gaga ...out of all those ladies, the answer to my original question is a resounding YES. There is no pop star I have ever respected or idolized more than Lady Gaga. Kylie comes very, very close. But even Kylie doesn't quite touch the level of emotional depth that I feel towards Gaga. Lady Gaga is absolutely everything that I could ever want from an artist. She helps me understand myself in ways that no other pop act has ever even come close to replicating. Voltaire 4,531
Easily. She's the only person that ever even occurred to me to be a fan of as a pop star. Candy is dandy but liquor is quicker
T3ARS 4,132
Yes, call me delusional but she will always be, in my opinion, the greatest major pop star of the 21st century. It is not our differences that divide us. It is our inability to recognize, accept, and celebrate those differences. - Audre Lorde

Luxe Ford 3,481
Have to contemplate that for a moment...mh-hmm... Yes, I think she is. Because it's so much more than the music. And it's easy to love an artist who's so visible online and in the media. And yes, I *do* love the bling! Bradley 58,648
Yes. Rihanna is my second favorite but I don't think she can replace Gaga at all. There's something about Gaga that no one else can emulate.

Anderson123 37,519
Yes. She's been my favorite pop artist since 2008. I used to listen a lot to Madonna back then but growing up with Gaga and living everything she's done has been a personal experience. I kind of understand why Madonna has such a strong fanbase (Those who are over 30 now, who grew up with her) and also Britney fans, even though I also grew up listening to Britney but stopped listening to her, but I see why there are fans out there who love her no matter what they say about her latest years.
