ReidOne 12,427 Posted June 5, 2016 Share Posted June 5, 2016 I'd like to make 2 points in this thread: #1: I've met Marc a couple years ago outside the LA artRAVE and he wasn't exactly outgoing towards me (even though I was friends with his friends). This was for no apparent reason other than I didn't really know who he was other than recognizing his face. But more importantly, this: #2: Marc is a real person! He's not a celebrity who has chosen to insert themselves into the public realm for our consumption and dissection. He's a real person with regular faults and regular strengths. A pop music fan forum like this should never EVER be used to trash somebody like him, simply because he is well known and has had the resources to get up close and personal with Lady Gaga. It's not kind and it's absolutely hurtful to a fan like Marc. Even if you haven't had great experiences with him yourselves, that doesn't give you clearance to write him off as a human being.
