Palin blasted the establishment and political commentators for doubting Trump's prospects as the Republican nominee for president. “And media, you know, their head is still a-spinnin'," Palin said. "What you have tried to do to Donald Trump and to all of his supporters has only proven that we were right. Do you know how thoroughly distrusted you are, mainstream media? Well, he is now though, he is now we the people’s nominee. So suck it up, cupcake.” During the primary, Trump shook up the professional political world, Palin said, exposing politicians as beholden to special interests. She said the Manhattan billionaire “blew the lid off the corrupted and corroded machine. He was like a golden wrecking ball.
