I think I'll be a little disappointed, it was the visuals and the music together that got me.

I just had a wonderful epiphany about this song:

I love this song, but remembered it's just a cover. I think that her song writing is much stronger than the original IWYL. She writes deep, layered lyrics that make me think and feel things. She writes realllly good hooks that are catchy as f*ck. She's just generally a really talented songwriter.

However, IWYL is kind of 'capped-off' because it was originally written by another group. BUT, take into consideration she still added the electronic breakdown, the You-And -I-esque "have you ever been in love", and the "that sh*its so chic that shi*ts so chic" backing vocals, etc.

Imagine this wonderful sound, with eeeeevereything else that she has to offer, as a songwriter, lyricist, etc. Everything above and beyond what this song could ever be. THAT is potential guys.

Omg.

I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.

The Child

I'd be so HAPPY! I love the song! Anytime it comes on my phone I never skip it! It's just so damn good, a mixture of everything I love, disco with electronic influences. Even the video was amazing! :applause:

And I can relate to the lyrics. :green:

I also the background vocals of her and also of the guy saying I want your love, you know I need you love.

Haroon

I hadn't heard the original when I'd seen the Tom Ford thing and I loved both the music and the video, like even if that was a music video I'd be okay with it :yay: Totally on board with stuff like that :woohoo:

REALITY

Considering the circumstances of the O.P., I'd love it. I love the feel of it, her vocals, etc. I'd be extremely happy with this type of music and this song in particular. I'd also think that it would do extremely well—maybe like the second Uptown Funk? I can certainly see it becoming a big hit.

As much as I love this song, it's not Gaga-esque enough, I'd rather have another slay lead single à la Born This Way/Bad Romance
