Today South Africa Rap Rave group Die Antwoord released their "Suck On This" mix tape as a precursor to their upcoming album "We Have Candy". The mix tape features 4 brand new full length songs, 5 new interlude tracks and 4 remixes of previous tracks. 4 tracks of the mix tape were released previously this week. I completely agree, but you need to listen to some of their music to understand why I made that statement.

Than stay away from this thread. It's unnecessary to comment on the matter.

They are from South Africa, so the culture is very different, they didn't do blackface, they did do full body paint in a variety of colors and the use of the n-word is different. Yolandi is actually what South Africans would consider "Coloured" [Half black half white] and was adopted as child. I'm not saying there's an excuse, but just because they are white does not mean they are from the same culture as those in America or even Europe.

It's only a mix tape, it was to be expected that it was album rejects. Especially after they canned the plan for the upcoming album to be a double album. For the price of free I can't complain. I suspect these were only releasd because they teased them for over a year in Instagram postings and live shows and didn't want to just trash them completely after fans have already heard them. [Maybe Gaga should do an LG5 pre album mixtape featuring all the ARTPOP rejects lol]

I listened to 2 of their albums and I only liked 1 song  Rich Bitch

You should check out their stuff pre Die Antwoord. It's all so completely different in tone and quite less extreme vocally. The MaxNormal.tv Album "Good Morning South Africa" is really good and there is also The Constructus Corporation album "The Zigguart" which is equal parts story as it is album. Die Antwoord just happened to be the project that got popular.

I suspect their "feud" with Gaga stems more from their intense and true hatred of Jimmy Iovine and Interscope - both of which Gaga is heavily tied to and speaks highly of. She is the golden child of Interscope after all.
