I'm with Kesha in this, but I think her mom misunderstood one point. Dr. Luke prevented Kesha from performing not because she's a woman but because of the possibility of Kesha making a 'statement performance' which would defame Dr. Luke, it was more about protecting his repute, not really about whether or not Kesha's a woman.

If another man could equally make a performance that would defame Dr. Luke, he could be restrained from performing as well.

But of course Kesha made it clear that the performance wasn't about Dr. Luke, so it's unfair to Kesha that he got to do it.

My Queen Shirley Manson said that she was owned by a previous label for years! That was while she was with her band Garbage and just literally had to wait till the contract expired. She said it's literally like a JAIL.

This is so sad. Like Gaga said, if you are harassed or feel uncomfortable at work then you can report it to HR. The music business is run by greedy soul sucking individuals who only care about themselves. I am just afraid Kesha won't ever break free. I hope a Revolution happens.
