She's a real trendsetter. I mean, maybe in American pop music anyway (not too aware) her sound was pop gold when she first came out with The Fame. TFM was fresh as well. BTW was empowered pop music with rock overtones. ARTPOP was experimental. Even Cheek to Cheek had its gems. 

She does what she wants, adds her touch, and we end up liking it in the end.

If the Gags wants to start another new wave for the world of pop music again, then I trust her to come up with quality stuff, as she has time and time again.

*Also, ever since Yoü and I, I've really been wanting to hear her more stripped back. Would be here for an acoustic album.

Well, this can mean many things. I hope it means it's analogue recording, which would be something pretty unnusal for a super massive recording artist to do. I think all this will help for Gaga to feel more authentic and natural. Which is great. And it's a complete departure from ARTPOP, recorded by kids that know not much more than us "amateur producers" at home, using pirated plug-ins with templates not done from scratch. And what was worst was the lack of dynamics in the recording, everyone has that feeling that it sounds all the same because it's so compressed, the sound is always in your face. Now i'm not saying it needs to be analogue to solve this but it should help Gaga connecting to old recordings, all that spiritual nonsense.

There's a misconception going here, you can have samples and be analogue. Mark Ronson always samples from vinyl, it's just recording that sound into the mix.

It's great that there's acoustic insturments, but no one said there won't be synthesisers. You know instead of using a plug-in that emulates the sound of the original, they are using analog synthesisers, most likely. But there must be anelectronic side to this. I'm pretty convinced about that.

The whole Analog and Authentic thing just seems a little snobby + the seeing another side other than "the massive pop singles and dance numbers" quote really doesn't make me excited for this next era...I guess we'll have to wait and see...i just hope its some kind of...'authentic' pop with a gaga twist...something catchy but lyrically more mature that shows off her stunning vocals. 

What ever happened to Pop music will never be low brow ms gaga?

I do hope she has 'Gaga' moments and doesn't turn full Lady, though. I am so here for the album though with the way it is being described

I am totally here for Gaga to put out an album which cannot be fit into any genre. At this point I am not complaining about bops anymore. As long as she is happy with her record I am happy too. 

Honestly Gaga should not give a single **** about what GP or some desperates of her fanbase want to hear. We already got that from releasing C2C. For instance at first I was not really a fan of C2C cause I've never been listening to Jazz consciously before but after a few attempts I really appreciate that album. 
I feel very happy that I have to stay open-minded when it comes to her musical creativity. Through the past years since I've been becoming a LM I really got into the art behind music and the long process it takes and my thinking about pop music really changed thanks to Gaga. She widened my musical horizon I think and I am totally here for her new album, whether it is a complete acoustic one or an absolute rock record. 
I'll follow her trough her journey and I am proud of it!

As much as I love "bops", I'll just be happy with quality pop music.
