On the other hand, Selena is bound to be a local phenomenon. She's known from years, but ppl cared more for her relationship with JB than for her music. Tho, in 2013 she served the iconic bop slow down. The truth is that these girls have nothing special. Gaga, Riri , Britney and all the other majors changed the pop music scene. I doubt a second or third single can do better than the lead. Therefore, I would go with Selena simply because it will never happen for Ariana. Hands to myself is also gold in 2 countries and platinum in 4 but I'm too lazy to type all that up. Point is, she is continually growing and as she keeps getting hits she will continue to become even more global. When We Don't Talk Anymore will finally be released that will help her a lot.
