being unknown is not a problem tbh, if you deliver the album well and start the era "smashing" you could just do anything i mean "The Fame" opened less but ended up selling 15m worldwide (along with tfm). We just need a flawless promos and proper handling of the said era. 

IT DEPENDS ON THE MUSIC, Popularity is not the problem since she established it well. Duh, in case you didn't know, she's LADY GAGA. Focus on music, then you'll know.

RIGHT NOW LG5 sells less than ARTPOP. Then, if the lead single is GREAT and the promo campaign on point, I can see it selling between AP and BTW.

Except that wad her DEBUT. She can on the fame soon after she release the album but not before it being release. She is still FAR more known now then she was before she released TF.

I think it will sell between 200,000 and 300,000 pure sales because Cheek to Cheek sold 131,000 and only her hardcore fans bought that (and Tony Bennett fans but that it isn't a big audience), I think if we add casual fans could be an extra 50,000+ and if the single(s) do well a lot of the gp will buy it too. I expect it to go platinum at least but hopefully it goes multiple times platinum.

For me the goal is 500K opening week with Lead peaking at number 1 and album selling 6M World Wide  

To me that is called realistic slaying and minimal slaying, for me to say an era was commercially successful I need to see the things I mentioned happen.

Let me just say one thing.

I truly believe LG5 will do better in it's second, third and fourth weeks than it's initial opening.

It won't be like Born This Way or ARTPOP. It might not even make it to number 1 in it's first week.

It will be a sleeper hit like Just Dance and The Fame in 2008.

Slow grind versus hard and fast.
