The company's first attempt at a music streaming service now has 13 million paid subscribers, Apple CEO Tim Cook said on Tuesday during a conference call to discuss the company's fiscal second-quarter results. Citing the new number of subscribers, Cook said the service continues to grow in popularity. "We feel really great about the early success of Apple's first subscription business," Cook said, according to a transcript of the earnings call from Seeking Alpha, "and our Music revenue has now hit an inflection point after many quarters of decline." Though I don't get what's special about Apple Music. True...and I think the price is fair (which is important) and there's virtually no difference from buying the songs on iTunes as we used to. Not to mention that it's a way to support the artists we like, cuz they'll all get a share of the money and also the visibility that our streams give them...the only underwhelming experience within the service is "Apple connect". It's also "already" in the iPhones so it takes less place. The little radio stations with songs are cute also, i like "Connect" too. Only thing that's missing is notifications how cool would it be to subscribe to artists (you can already do that) but that they send you a notification when they have new music released? plz Apple, can i go on their website and suggest this? Good reasons tbh. Never tried it, but the space thing is convenient indeed. Just hope they pull out some extra stuff in the next few years.
