I had the same reaction last week with that non-sense about George Clooney. Bernie doesnt know how to loose with dignity. In the last weeks, he proved that he is just another politician. I dont know if his supporters cant see or dont want to see it.

Maybe he'll endorse Jill Stein instead, I'd prefer he do that. We need a third party in this country and with the countries hate for Clinton and Trump, the time is now. My mom says she's voting green this year and I say good. It's not a wasted vote or endorsement, the only wasted vote or endorsement is for a canditiate you don't like or believe in.

Honestly if Trump wasn't running I wouldn't even care at this point. There are sane Republicans out there however this year they're all ****. The Republican party needs a major change. Kasich is the most sane and even he's a bit out there... at least I can tolerate him. 

But I can't let Trump pick SCOTUS justices in the near future, etc. He is a joke. A fraud. 

And honestly yeah it sucks for Clinton that half of the people voting in the Democratic primaries will end up voting for her just because she's not Trump

Yes, endorse Jill Stein and take votes away from the Democratic nominee making the chances of Trump winning bigger. Sounds like a smart idea.

There is far more at stake here than the petty differences you are emphasizing.

I honestly fail to see why people dislike Hillary so much. I get why they may have doubts but the outright negativity is surprising. In any case I'm not going to try to convince you about Hillary.

I'll put it bluntly. The only way you'll see change in this country is if the Democrats rule the Senate and have dominant influence on the Supreme Court. That's simply the way it is. Their current lock on the former has halted progress for years. Their former lock on the latter is finally being lifted and we can start seeing some good changes.

 Republicans tend to be conservatives that favor the status quo, while Democrats tend to be liberals that favor progress.

It's not about Democrat or Republican. It's about liberalism vs conservatism.

Do you disagree that Hillary is not a liberal? She has the 11th most liberal record as a Senator during her tenure.

The other ones in the race have deliberately made statements that run counter to liberal ideologies. Most independents actually carry liberal ideologies with conservative viewpoints on economy.

I don't get why you are dismissing this so readily. Democrats and liberals are a major factor in promoting and legislating social welfare such as Social Security and Healthcare. They were a major player in the civil rights era, endorsing and securing equal rights for African Americans. They were a major reason for why gay men such as I are capable of being out and gay without being arrested.

There will always be petty squabbles and differences between party members. This isn't a hive mind. You may disagree with how some operate or what they stand for.

The main thing to remember is that the only way for you to get anything done is to stand together with other people. A single twig breaks, but a bundle of sticks stays strong.

Vote for who you want. Just remember to look to the future as a criterion as well.

Hillary and Trump have hideous unfavorable ratings and many Americans are not gonna want to vote for either, we should give those people an alternative. The conservatives that don't want Trump and the liberals that don't want Clinton deserve an alternative.

This is how politics always goes. I don't get why people think the winner is always everyone's favorite.

It's rarely a unanimous decision. It never has been actually.

You go for the person who will most likely benefit and will least likely **** you over. That's how it has always been. That's how it will always be as long as we are not a homogeneous hive mind.

Also people here are vastly overestimating how much people dislike Hillary. She's not hated at all. Obama too had a crappy favorability rating for various reasons as Hillary does now. It doesn't mean people disliked him. He ended up being one of the best presidents the USA has seen in a while. Approval is a fickle thing.

Does the system deserve it tho? The status quo is terrible and it seems a lot of democrats are not proud liberals. Even Hillary hesitated to call herself a liberal, why? Even tho the democrat party is to the left of republicans, it's not left enough and I'm sure that once this primary is over, they'll jump to the center so they can beat the republicans. Trump will do the same, jump to the center, so he can get dem voters. It's outrageous that the American public is so okay with this. 

Well, I might just get my wish. Many conservatives hate trump and more will hate him when he jumps to the center. Same with Clinton. We may actually see some movement for a third party. An NBC poll showed 16% of Americans will vote third party and I only see that number growing.

No, I'm not gonna do that. Fortunately, there already are other parties for liberals and conservatives that do not like their choices. Hopefully, more Americans that don't like Clinton or Trump, will look to them.

Hillary has never hesitated to call herself liberal. Don't make things up please. She has the 11th most liberal voting record in her tenure. She has been a loyal and faithful servant to the Democratic party which has almost always espoused liberal ideologies. 

Your fears are pointless. Presidential candidates need to appeal to EVERYONE. They serve their party but they are supposed to represent the entire United States and need to take into account the needs of all people. They advance their own party's agendas, which they supposedly believe in as well, while trying to keep people from rioting. You cooperate. You don't force outside the law.

All candidates take their runs to the extreme on the nominee phase and then drift to more moderate stances during the presidential election. It's always the way it goes. 

It's not about being ok with it. The point of the nominee phase is to tell the Democratic voters that you will support their Democratic interests best. During the presidential candidate run, it's about telling the entirety of the USA that you will be the one who serves the entire country best, while being clear that you belong to a certain party.

"I'm going to implement ____, but I'll try not to **** you over too much". is what it boils down to.

There has always been talk about a third party. It has never gained ground, even in its most popular stages. The USA is simply too divided on its stances. Don't get me wrong. It would be great. It's just not going to happen right now, and you need to vote with your conscience defensively or otherwise.
