I think this was a problem before ARTPOP came out, I remember it being said Gaga demanded that she only perform new songs for the iTunes fest, it's the only way she would do the event. I think she was completely fed up with everything at that time. I'm also kind of bored of performances from the first two albums. She's so far past that kind of music at this point in her life now and she clearly doesn't want to do it anymore. And Telephone - she basically said before that she's not as keen on that song because she had a bad experience making the video or something. After TF, she started making the music she truly wanted to make and didn't want to sell out anymore so it's obvious that anything from that more fame-hungry period where she needed a foot in the door by being generic wouldn't appeal now. Imagine singing a song for the rest of your life, even when you are not feeling it. And she makes efforts for new songs which she wants to share and people still want to hear old songs. It must be very frustating. I cannot imagine her singing a lot of her old songs anymore, because she is constantly changing and a creative artist.
