I think Rihanna's lost her touch where she could make a single successful just for being a feature on it. Everyone thought Can't Remember To Forget You was going to blow up just because she was on it but it didn't. Work only went to #1 because there was no competition and Drake was on it. Other than that, she's really struggled to get a hit for the last 4 years, with or without help. I think she's fading out now and should just be allowed to. She already outstayed her welcome 5 years ago. She's on sheer borrowed time now and it's getting tiring. She's the last of a generation of "artists" who don't actually involve themselves much in their careers and I'm glad we're demanding more from artists now than manufactured stuff. I despair at some of you calling her a musician. It turns out that the term can mean anyone who's musically involved, as opposed to just being an instrument player, but still. When you're one of 8 people on a songwriting credit, you can hardly be called an artist. If you look back at all of Rihanna's biggest hits, barely any of them had her involvement. I think that tells you where she'd be if she was left completely to her own devices, song-writing wise. you don't go #1 for 8 weeks "cuz there is no competition"

Anyways she released Work as a lead, check it's credits and the whole "she is in control of her album" would sound a little bit non-realistic. I know it's slayin at #1 cos people don't care about these stuff, but calling ha a Musician is just too Much I didn't say anything about producing. Gaga has someone who picks her single and I'm sure the entire industry does. Record labels still need to make money. I did not say she had FULL control I said MORE control. Finally feeling free for the night, I got no worries. Finally got a claim on my life, baby, c'est la vie. ☄️
iCpro 14,846
I'm not a big fan of Rihanna, mostly because of how manufactured she is but I would love her to collab with Gaga Spoiler Because the song would be at #1 for MONTHS 08, 09, 11, 13, 16,

There's been no song this year that's been as massive as this one yet (in the US anyway) there's been no massive selling new albums yet and it's kept at the top only because of streaming. Look up its worldwide sales - it really hasn't sold much at all. As of now, its Wiki page says that its only sold around 1.1 million in the US. Considering its been so long at #1 and how getting 1 million singles sales is nothing in the US, this doesn't look good.

All Bieber #1 singles sold 2m in total. and almost every other hit did 1-2. future is in the streaming
Vodka 4,478
I mean, anything's possible. Both camps never really mentioned or said of anything that would really say otherwise. That being said, Gaga and Rihanna just seem so estranged from each others' brand of pop, especially now. In my opinion, unless the track was forged with the theme of fashion or something more cohesive, I feel as if the track would be awkwardly placed, my main concern would be the fusing of both of their sounds (if that makes sense). At this point, I'd be a bit more comfortable with one or the other covering one of each others' songs, but that still leaves a bit room for doubt. Who knows tho? If it were to happen, I simply hope it'd be cohesive for both of their brands. Yes, I also do love partying in moving houses as seen in that one Bacardi tv ad.
