I want LG5 & it's singles to be available on all streaming services. Here's why, the Billboard Hot 100 weighs heavily on streaming nowadays. 'Work' it spending it's 7th week at #1 (more than any Gaga single) & is only #15 on iTunes. But it's music video has got a ton of views, that's why it's #1. Let's look at another example. Meghan Trainor's 'NØ' debuted at #11. 2 weeks later when the music video was released, it blasted to #6. Now that it's views have picked up, it's at #3 (out peaking Applause). The best way for Gaga to ensure a Top 5 debut with her next lead single is to drop the single along with it's video on a Friday at 12:00 am EST when the new chart tracking week begins. Another reason why Gaga should have LG5 up for streaming is because of the younger/new generation. They listen to most of their music on streaming services. It's a great way to expose them to Gaga!

Things have changed so much since the last time Gaga dropped a pop single. I don't think I care anymore if it even enters the Top 10 or not as long as we have those 5 singles & music videos like a proper era.

So, is streaming important? More than sales in my opinion. Streaming nowadays show the real impact of a song. Few people actually have the chance to buy a song on iTunes but everyone can listen to it on Spotify, watch the video on Youtube, etc, etc.

I'd be very happy to see Gaga on top of streaming services not for the charts but because it'd mean that tons of people are listening & appreaciating her.

I agree  and she should upload the album one week after it's release, to snatch more physical copies.

Banners on Youtube and Spotify will be necessary too

Is the Billboard 100 that relevant anymore? These days with the itunes chart and spotify chart plus youtube there are so many different measures that it's kind of made people care less about Billboard imo. It's just another chart. It's better to focus on doing what will make the most impact overall instead of trying to climb certain charts. I don't think anyone who isn't obsessed with pop music or certain artists remotely cares who is number one.

It's always been very important for pop artists and pretty much irrelevant for others, it's no different today. For example Bruce Springsteen and David Bowie have never had #1 hits. But artists like Madonna and Gaga whose music is geared towards chart success live and die by their success in that area to a much greater extent.

The song was mainly written by PARTYNEXTDOOR actually, there's only one other co-writer. The rest are producers and of course Rihanna and Drake are credited

I think the the single should be released on streaming services immediately because the hot100 is influenced heavily by streaming, but I think the album should either be put on streaming services then next week or midweek because I think we've seen pretty consistently that that albums that aren't on streaming services do better (Taylor, Adele, Gwen, The 1975) but I think it should be uploaded later so that it can be propped up after the first week.
