The Katy Cats victim complex is predictable in every thread here that mentions her. The exact same handful of people say the same thing everytime.

The irony :toofunny:

If is a beautiful, sunny spring day here!

I'll see you in the next Katy thread, where you will whine about Gaga fans.

Well, while I'm certain these 2 bitches can lay back for months and still watch their bank accounts grow and this might be just a greedy step into their increasing selfishness. I'm also led to think... why didn't they come up with something like that long before? Especially Xtina who suffered a lot from piracy 6years ago when Bionic was released.

Xtina gets paid millions in private concerts and being a judge in The Voice, while Katy does the same with endorsements and tours.

So has it come to your enlightment that celebrities like them might wanna put this up to help OTHER MORE UNKNOWN ARTIST and new-comers who actually pay the high price of piracy these days?

Well of course not, because it isn't Mother Stefani Teresa of Calcuta Germanotta who is voicing it!!!

The hypocresy of some GGD members is no longer surprising me!

Watch Gaga join the cause in some time. MARK MY WORDS!

This isn't about millionaires, it's about the music and how it isn't being profitable for some new talents or less known artists!

It's a legit concern but I think it's too hard in the digital age to get rid of piracy. And I'm not condemning anyone, but I do find it interesting that the lesser tiered artists aren't speaking out against this, I guess they are just thrilled to have someone that wants to listen to their music. Most local music acts I know want the money, sure, but care way more about fans in the seats for shows. It's more about performing and getting the music heard. Tours are where the real money goes anyway.

Spoiler

And seriously? Not the same people coming for Gaga because Katy was mentioned. Please go back to ATRL where you can have your stupid stan wars, Gaga wasn't mentioned here (and it wouldn't change the issue even she was). Stop trying to turn everything around on her to **** on her and her fan base (which you are supposed to be a part of).

Just repeat to yourself, "It's just a show. I should really just relax."

If I was an artist, I would not want anyone to pirate my things. If everyone bought CDS, there probably wouldn't be so many "flops" as people like say when millions have the album on their computer on repeat. It does not matter how much money they make... if you make a product you do not want people stealing it. I stand behind their decision.

I'm sorry I know Katy isn't obligated to speak about Kesha but this irks me. Now she's raising her voice? This is worth advocating for but when a girl you've been friends with accuses a guy you work with of rape you sit back and let other people deal with it? Girl get your priorities in line.

That has nothing to do with her and was not brought up in court. It could be very well that he did not rape her. Whatever the case Katy is not obligated to do anything just because Kesha is a celebrity. She's probably not even friends with the girl. Everyone including celebrities do not have to speak on something. I'm so sick of you guys saying this. There's nothing wrong with Katy not opening her mouth. Use your own voices. If you do not feel that your voice or the other celebrities that spoke out is enough, that says a lot about you and not Katy Perry.
