This is not surprising considering how much thought and work Gaga puts into her videos. Videos like “Bad Romance” and “Telephone” became instant phenomenons (and instant classics) upon release. Videos like “Born This Way” and “Judas” continued to push her aesthetic to weird, interesting places while remaining popular with fans. “Applause” gave us many memorable images (like SwanGa, for instance). Even her clip for the Fame fragrance — an advertisement, essentially — raised the bar, tested the boundaries of the medium. The influence of her videos has been felt in a broad sense since “Paparazzi” and can be seen in everything from Iggy Azalea andRita Ora’s “Black Widow” to Christina Aguilera’s “Not Myself Tonight” to Beyoncé‘s “Run the World (Girls).” I thought Not myself tonight was before gaga's existence in music.. enlighten me please because i always thought she had somehow copied some ideas from that video..
