Hide contents here r some videos of cops arresting white ppl: the above video is SORT of similar to the video with the black guy up until she goes crazy but i feel it is discredited because of her actions after the fact so lets move on This asian cop was treating this mexican very cruelly. was he being racist to pedro? mexican lives matter too so those videos in the spoiler i feel like as a response u will insult me and call me names and call me a racist. but i just dont see the video in OP was really racist. cops are really offensive and rude most of the time to everybody. they have been towards me and im white. they have been towards friends of mine, black, white, doesnt matter. i think cops hate everyone equally. im not saying racism doesnt exist in the police i just dont see it necessarily in the OP also the officer that came at the end detained the black guy because when he arrived, the black guy was hurriedly leaving a group of security guards, what is he supposed to think? the black guy even pushed back physically against the police officer right before he got tazed. idk what the security guards were doing but they had a reason for what they were doing. do u really think they approached him just because he was innocently dancing to himself and not causing any noise? either case might be true, we dont know. he was screaming this whole video. it's not improbable to say that he was doing something extra before the video started. i dont know just like u dont know i also dont think my point of there being a black security guard is so easy to throw away. was she being racist? she told him that they asked him nicely to leave before and he evidently had refused. Don't even know why you posted the video of the white woman as she literally attacked the officer after he calmly tried to remove her from the situation... She shoved and kicked at him before he used any excessive force so pretty sure he was within his rights to touch her after that. Stopped watching after that. The other example is extremely shocking and the cop indeed is an asshole. But you simply cannot deny the prejudice by a lot of (not all) white officers towards black people, the statistics are out there! If it's not outright racism causing this then it must be subconscious because this incident happens all the time. They automatically think black people are threats but this guy was alone, minding his own business, headphones in and...... dancing. And yes I do think the guards approached him because he was dancing. In the video you hear them talking about him being drunk (which he is allowed to be). There's no reference to any other unruly behaviour anywhere. And once again if they did ask him to leave for doing something bad, that would've been caught on camera and he would've been charged for that. But he was charged for resisting arrest and "trespassing". That's the most flimsy reason for an arrest I've ever heard. If he had been violent/aggressive/loud/threatening before the camera started rolling, the situation would've already been far more heated than it was at the beginning but it only really intensified when the officer showed up. It doesn't matter if she asked him nicely to go. It's pretty clear there was no valid reason for him to leave. Dancing is not a crime... He was asking why he was being arrested, why he had to leave etc and they couldn't answer. I'm not calling you racist and I'm not insulting you, nor have I during this whole exchange. But it's interesting that you're so defensive about that. You're just doing your very best to make excuses for some security guards and a police officer who were clearly in the wrong. But, from what some people here don't get what I'm trying to say is that I'm talking about the situation before the cop came in. From what the cop did, that's all wrong. Neither do I accept that. Security Officers =/= Police Officers, that's why I'm wanting to know what happened before. America or not, I don't really see 6 security officers coming out of the blue just to tell the person to go away. It must have happened with just 1 security officer before, something must have escalated after that. The reason why there would be more officers. And now people say that I'm blaming the black guy? I'm not. We don't know what happened before. It's like seeing an asian being beaten by 6 black dudes, but we don't know what the asian did what led to this. A blind story from the beginning. If the guy did something to cause all the attention then why wasn't he charged for something other than resisting an arrest and 'trespassing' - once again, let me repeat in a public area? The most pathetic charge ever. There were no doubt cameras there that could've caught whatever he was doing that would've been so bad before, but there's nothing. The security guards made no reference to him doing anything else in the video, either. Even when he asked why he was being arrested. They're just on him like vultures. I personally suspect that they came up to him and asked him to leave cos he was dancing so presumably drunk and "a threat", then he didn't understand why and got upset so the rest joined in. (the white girl video i agree on u with) yes perhaps the cops were wrong, i am not defending the behavior of the police ... they treat everyone poorly. i dont see how this was racism. even when a black lady was involved. was she forced along with the other mex and white security guards to approach him? was she dragged along and forced to be racist too? do even black people subconsciously think other black ppl r a threat? i think all of these things are possible. i just dont feel its automatically racist Ma ma pa pa pa

And if you agree then why did you post it? lol They do not treat everyone poorly. When I was in New York I saw people (yes white people) acting a lot worse in public spaces - touristy areas - and there was nothing. You're still ignoring that brutality from white cops to black men happens way more regularly than any other combo and that's exactly what happened here. It doesn't matter if a black lady was involved. 1) she was only part of the group that was victimising and 2) she could have subconscious prejudices towards black people. Internalised racism is very real, just like some people are internally misogynistic and homophobic. I'm open to being proved wrong, that it isn't racially motivated. But I'm still yet to hear a valid reason from you or anyone else why they would've behaved like this towards him. Especially when that guard so shocked to hear that the man filming identified himself as a Black Panther and then he was asked to leave shortly afterwards. EDIT: (Oh i had you confused with that other person who actually did call me a racist) in any case, i cant change ur opinion if u r so set on believing this was racism and that the black security officer was dragged along and that the black security officer is racist too. i guess every situation involving a black man is racist unless proven innocent. (as a sidenote i would be shocked if i was approaching someone and then someone started filming and said they were from the black panthers and what i was doing was racist, if that was not my intention. there are many ways to look at a situation. it could be "OMG! U got me! i am racist!" shock, or "I am not a fcking racist! R u really jumping to conclusions?" shock.) i find it difficult to believe that what im presenting arent valid reasons, though. The only real facts are that this video started, man was surrounded by security guards of different races, mostly white but one black and one mex if im not mistaken. man is seen screaming at the top of his lungs entire video. black woman states she had asked him nicely to leave and he had refused. man turns to leave after screaming at security guards for a few minutes. police officer approaches the scene, sees a man rushing away from a group of security guards, and goes to detain him as he likely doesnt know what was happening as he didn't seem to be there to see what was going on (could be wrong, point me in the right direction if i missed him being there before). man screams entire time, is not compliant with anyone. police officer moves in to detain him, man is not compliant and throws him off, not hard but physically does not allow the police officer to detain him. police officer tazes him. the reasons i hear why this is racist are: 1) everyone only approached him because they are racist towards any black man in a public area (doesnt matter we didnt see what happened before) 2) black security officer is racist too 3) black security officer, who did most of the talking and actions seen in the video, was forced to do so by racist white people. the reasons i say this is not racist are: 1) we didnt see what happened before. only thing we can tell is man was screaming and non-compliant entire time. highly possible could have been doing something more than innocently dancing along 2) they had asked him to leave and he refused. 3) police officer that tazed him did so after he arrived on a confusing scene and the man refused to be detained for questioning and was borderline hysterical (you have to see it from the police officer's point of view) i also think it's hard to say that you saw people in new york behaving more out of line than him when we didn't see what he was doing in the first place. You continue making excuse for unjust police officers. im sorry but you clearly lost this argument. i read all of your post and i countered all of your points. youre not even willing to acknowledge that, since you dont know what happened before, there is no way that these ppl approached him due to something we didnt see. it is automatically racist, and in the black security officer's case, subconscious racism. also in the video the black security officer says she was pushed by him, and then the man states that he has been arrested a few times before. we should also consider those things. is black security officer lying for the camera? and are all of the man's previous arrests due to racism also? we don't have any idea but those things seem to give some info towards the content of his character and the sort of PERSONALITY this man has that we couldn't witness before the video started. anyway yeah we disagree but you didnt have very OBJECTIVE points, in the end.
