PoshLife 16,925
Taeyeon's album is really great, but that's a very "I've been a fan of kpop for six months and only know the most popular stuff" list The fact that like 80% of it is SM
TWICE on hatius 4,746
Sheldon Pearce has been reviewing kpop since 2015, I think. One of the first Pitchfork kpop's reviews was his. That's being said, the list does not have any indie artists or very nugu groups but understandable cause Kpop attached with popular idol music more. Edit: IMO, he snubbed a few tracks from T-ARA and BEGs but really if I am looking back this is IT. Girls Generation, Shinee, INFINITIVE and Girls day titles are immaculate. And that Stellar, B2st, Afterschool and Hello Venus are included throughout the list is really good. Much better than Billboard one. PoshLife 16,925
For anyone who's new to the thread this year, it's a little thread tradition that we post end-of-year superlatives. It's totally optional of course, but everyone's welcome to do it if they want! These are the categories I'll use, for example: Best songs: Best MV: Best album: Best artwork: Best moment: Biggest disappointment: Still listening to from previous years: Most looking forward to in 2021: Hot take: I'll post mine tomorrow since I'm still working on them - I'll probably do it for kpop, jpop, and epop cuz I'm a try-hard 1
