After this didn't happen, she trained to debut as a member of F(x). In 2009 she left SM and joined CCM (Now MBK Entertainment) where she trained to debut as a member of T-ara, and although this didn't happen she did eventually debuted a while later as a member of Coed School. With Coed School splitting into sub units, Chanmi became part of F-ve Dolls, and Coed School was never to be seen again. After she left F-ve Dolls, she participated on Produce 101 where she didn't make the final line up. After this she became part of a new girlgroup called High Color The group participated on Mix Nine, but no one made it far besides one. High Color disappeared to be never seen again.
