I did this awhile ago for some quick practice and portfolio fodder, might as well post it here too.

Omg good job! I've yet to conquer pastels hahaha I can only do oil pastels so far

Thanks and for what it's worth I only used pastels for the background and small detail in this. After 8 hours I wasn't going to try and perfectly blend a background like that. Chalk pastels are so easy to work with as long as you get good ones. The ones I used for the background were kinda crappy, but their roughness isn't a problem if they're not being used for the main focus of the picture.
