I remeber that I was in a car and I heard 'Bad Romance' on the radio. It was funny to hear something like 'Rah Rah Roma ma'... I pretended not to like it at first because she seemed just like any other pop star and sophomore me was way too cool for that. Eventually though, I found myself listening to the radio quietly in the car just so I could turn it up when those glorious synths started playing. There was something about that song that had me seriously hooked, it was the catchiest thing I'd ever heard! She was playing the piano, have stunning vocals, and she had these unique sometimes awkward jerks that makes you see and hear how much emotion she is pouring into the song. I just had to google her and I fell into the Gaga rabbit hole. For someone who does not care about ANY musical artist aside from the bop songs they make, being curious about Gaga and who she was was a first for me. Gaga is the artist that if you dig deeper, you will find so many great things to fall in love with. I thought that it was an iconic moment.....but not totally thrilled. Then the Bad Romance video and her alien back scene,and later Alejandro video blew my mind ..and even though her music was catchy and the videos were brilliant...i was not a big fan till........Judas! Judas is " heavy metal pop" banger,addictive and full of energy.....in a very good album,.That period made me wanna know everything bout her. It was ARTPOP that made me feel that Gaga is the most important artist.The absolute melodies..Her vocals ..Her strength and determination. Lucas 26,837 Posted February 18, 2016 Share Posted February 18, 2016 I was cleaning the house & Bad Romance came on TV, at first I thought "who the hell is this satanic bitch" having no idea she's the same girl that sang the overplayed single Poker Face because of how different she looked from the Poker Face video, later that day I was bored and came on my computer and wrote "gaga romama" something like this on Google, and Bad Romance came and I felt in love with the Gaga from The Fame Monster Era (and I remember the video had 50M views, 660m today <3). After The Fame Monster & seing her at the Monster Ball tour, I wasn't really interested by her anymore, when Born This Way and the singles were released I hated it so much, I skipped school to listen to the album and was so disappointed, I thought "she's already over" lol. Then the masterpiece You & I was released as a single and I looooooved it and the music video, made me fall in love with her all over again, and after the 4 weeks of listening to You & I non stop, I gave a new try to the album and felt in love with it... When she broke her hip and didn't show up for months I loved her even more because I was sooo hyped for ARTPOP and was listening to Born This Way in full at least 3 times a day...
