I was jamming to Just dance all the time after I heard it on the radio. One day at school I heard Poker Face playing and I said to a friend "That song is so damn irritating, she only keeps saying P-P-P-P -.---"... My friend replied "Well, it is Lady Gaga, don't you like Just dance?" hahaha 

I never really loved Poker Face after that but I remember loving the next singles, the album and the VMA 2009 performance <3.<3 I also remember totally ditching Britney Spears since 2008 bc of Gaga haha. BR slayed me, Telephone music video too, but it was the Alejandro music video made me a little monster I think.

i was a casual fan through out 2008 but somewhere around march 2009 i bought the fame and i chose to shuffle it so the first song i heard was the title track, and i just instantly knew that this bitch was something ELSE henny. i got my life and i binge watched all of her interviews, performances, gagavisions etc and after spending the whole night with ms. germanotta i felt so liberated?? and i just knew i'd stay with this bitch for many years to come

It was 2008 and I was sitting in the car while a friend's mom was driving us somewhere. The radio was on and everything was calm. 

Then suddenly the beginning instrumentals for Just Dance started playing. I began getting goosebumps and could feel my blood rushing around in my body. By the time the chorus came around I was gone, in my own fantasy party world. I went home after that and looked the song up and watched the video. At that point then and there I was hooked for life.

I highly recommend that anyone who's interested, rewatch the Just Dance Video. In those 1st 20 second of the video GaGa serves EVERYTHING. She just has this energy about her that screams, "I am Lady GaGa, you've never seen anything like me and whether you like it or not I am about to change the game in unimaginable ways." 

Then came the Pokerface American Idol performance and the Papparazi VMA performance(in my top 3 fave Gaga performances) and how could I not be a fan??

When I was younger I never really cared for gaga.I remember someone telling me in grade 2 that their favourite singer is Lady Gaga. I remember looking at a picture of a women with green hair titles "Lady gaga with Katy Perry" I told her that Lady Gaga was pretty and had crazy hair. I liked her hits and always listened to them on my dads phone but nothing special. No one talked about her during the ARTPOP era so I litterly forgot about her. My best friend (lol her name is Natalie like Stefani`s sister) told me she was going to a Lady Gaga concert because her dad had a co worker who had tickets but couldn`t go so the co worker gave her dad cheap tickets. I was shocked because 1.)I forgot about Lady Gaga 2.) Natalie was a good clean girl so I was surprised she would see gaga so I laughed and made jokes she would see inappropriate things. After school everyday I would search up things about Lady Gaga. I looked up Telephone and I remembered my cousin forcing me to watch Telephone with her in grade 6. I didn`t want to because it was "inappropriate" but whatever  It was a routine to look up things about Lady Gaga. After My friend went to the ARTRAVE I asked her SOOOO many questions and she got annoyed with me (lol). One day I put on my headphones and listened to Applause. I liked it a lot. After a few time of watching Applause something changed. The part where gaga had burst with glittery passion I was blown away. I told myself she was my new favourite person. At the time I loved Kesha a lot but Gaga stole my heart. Buying ARTPOP was a very special thing for me. It was and still is my favourite album. I listened to it when ARTPOP died down. I never liked it because of the popularity, I liked it because it made me feel special. I remember when my best friend got cancer I listened to Dope and I cried. Also when my cat died I cried hard while listening to dope and holding my Gaga and Theiry Richardson book. I remember listening to Swine and just rocking out to it and clenching my firsts until the beat dropped. Gaga has helped me be more open to who I am. I was embarrassed to like Gaga at first but slowly I showed the world that I`m a little monster. Someone scrolled through my phone and saw a Lady Gaga album. I thought the would pick on me but they litterly didn`t care and I realized that being myself is all that matters. People always say "how can you love someone you have never meet' and I took a while to think about and I realized that its because I have a bigger connection with gaga then with anyone. She has helped my with my body image issues. I remember sucking my stomach in and then saying "What would Stefani say if she was here.She would be very upset" and let go of my weight and smiled. It was the first time I ever was proud of my body. I always wanted to be a small, skinny, tumblr girl and not a big, thick transgender girl but I am proud of myself. Even if my parents aren`t, Gaga excepts me for who I am. I always tell myself "Life may be sad but it is always beautiful" when something bad happens and i say that because Gaga made me realize that. Thank you mother monster for everything you have done. Paws up forever.

I first was a "casual" fan. I liked her music, and nothing beyond. 

I remember hearing "Paparazzi" on the radio for the first time. It was 2009, and I completely fell in love with this song. It is my favourite song to date. So by that time it was the beginning of my Gaga obsession but I still was on the "casual" side of things. When Bad Romance dropped is when I lost my **** [2nd fav song of all time (!)] and became really a superfan. since then I've seen Gaga live once, ArtRAVE Israel, and it was magical, and for sure improved my connection to Gaga.
