Swine 504
I don't need a message from Gaga or anybody. I'm here for music, not someone to teach me how to accept someone else, I guess it's common sense, doesn't need an album to made about it. It's all marketing babe, would be naive to believe she's doing it for the sake of the message. I lived in iraq where Saddam Hussein was treated like the father, son and the holy ghost lol. I hated his way and I disagree with everything they did back then I partially agree with Korea (even though I'm mostly against them about a lot of things including banning the movie 2012 from Cinemas, DVDs and even downloads because their government think it's "bad luck" lmao) I just think that what Gaga does in her concerts isn't appropriate for some ages, using s-xual language, moves not to mention the type of people who go there and what those children will see there being done by the people or Gaga herself and all this labeled as "art". I personally wouldn't want my son to watch men dressed as women or to see a singer half naked on stage, asking people to take their dicks out ...etc. because I want my children to grow up watching things that will be more useful to them in life. For example, when they watch something heroic as in fighters or movies that have a nice moral in the end ..etc. would be perfect unlike learning the dirtiest forms of s-x at this early age. dc1993 1
I've played horror games n watched horror n thriller films of 17+ when I was 8-9 and I'm still kicking . so what? It's a parent's job to protect their children from things that aren't suited to their age. Gaga's show does contain an amazing, positive message - but it also contains s-xual references and bad language. It should be the parent's decision to make, not the government's. You're also very, very wrong if you think 16 and 18 year olds are worlds apart. They aren't. 2 years MAY make a difference, but then again... it may not. how old are you? If you're the same person at 18, that you were when you were 16 - well done, you havn't progressed at all. Good luck surviving in the world.
Zilla 13,383
My thing is they should contact Gaga's camp to see if it warrants the ban. But I also see why they're doing it, as sad as it is. I hope it works out. Ultimately it should be up to the parents but ehhh. πΈ'π π πππππ πππ πππππ’ πππππ ππππ ππ ππππ.

Your entire 'point' here is irrelevant. Parents should be the ones controlling what their children see and don't see, not the government. That's why children under 17 can see an R rated movie with parental consent, or get an M rated game or explicit album if their parent is buying it for them. And GaGa's shows aren't even that explicit anyway. She talks about s-x and swears, ok. NO ONE going to a Lady GaGa concert doesn't already do that. If you don't want your child growing up around inappropriate things, then be a parent and prevent them from seeing it. It isn't the government's job to raise your children. first off, I'm not your "babe" and you can keep your sleazeball condescending bull**** to yourself, thanks. secondly, I'm one of the most cynical people I know and even I can see that Gaga is coming from a genuine place with the message of Born This Way and the BTWF. you'd have to be a complete idiot to not see that for her it isn't just about marketing. and did I ever say I wasn't "here for the music"? that MUSIC has helped me in more ways than I'll ever be able to list here, and I won't do it here because frankly you don't deserve it. she didn't have to "teach" me to accept myself, her music simply helped with the process. now get off that high-and-mighty pedestal, the lack of air has gone to your head.

RinoTheBouncer 1
Useful - like letting hip-hop artists teaching them to emulate ghetto thugs? Or some kind of Disney bubble gum pop about teen romance. Whatever kids aren't supposed to see if what they most aspire to see. That's why its cool to curse and drink and dress s-xy. I never said I support watching that kind music and videos either. You know what, I think you don't understand Gaga at all. She loves fame, but if she were doing everything for the sake of money, she would have bought an enormous mansion and wouldn't be as dedicated as she is to her fans. She obviously believes in the message that she's giving. It's not her fault that 90% of women on the business are in it for the money. Gaga doesn't despise money, but she wouldn't stop making music if she wasn't payed. It may be common sense for you, but you have to step on other's shoes to understand that not everybody is as self-empowered as you. There are lots of very insecure people, so... saying that her message is pure common sense is quite apart from reality. And if your child enjoys the music and enjoys her performances, why not? I don't know if you think you're tolerant or openminded, I though so anyway, but now I think you're quite narrow minded. Parents should educate their children the way they want, not the way the government imposes. So do you think a child should watch fighters over erotic performances? I would teach my children to embrace s-x, not violence. There's nothing heroic about fighting physically. The fact that you think that Gaga is in the business FOR the money, makes me realize that you're one of those narrow minded person that let themselves to be led by the stereotype, which is absurd. Well watching a fight and learning to be more heroic and do some body building, idolize arnold is much better than learning to dress like Gaga even when they're men. She may be honest with her message but nobody can deny that her motive is to gain more popularity among people by getting intimate and close with younger generation who want somebody to speak what they want to say to the world. Coming from a Madonna stan. I never said I admire Madonna's s-x book, nor her overly explicit videos. first off, I'm not your "babe" and you can keep your sleazeball condescending bull**** to yourself, thanks. secondly, I'm one of the most cynical people I know and even I can see that Gaga is coming from a genuine place with the message of Born This Way and the BTWF. you'd have to be a complete idiot to not see that for her it isn't just about marketing. and did I ever say I wasn't "here for the music"? that MUSIC has helped me in more ways than I'll ever be able to list here, and I won't do it here because frankly you don't deserve it. she didn't have to "teach" me to accept myself, her music simply helped with the process. now get off that high-and-mighty pedestal, the lack of air has gone to your head. How about you find a wall and smack your head with it? nice idea right? It's perfect for someone who's jealous and hateful like you. I don't know what you want from me since I joined this forum, better get a life and find someone at your age to play with or let's say at the age of your brain cuz you act and behave like children who want to attack bigger people to prove themselves. This is who I am and this is my pedestal, you don't have to cry at the bottom of it. You don't like me? don't talk to me, don't bother quoting my posts cuz I don't need your or anyone's opinion. Friendly Advice : get a life, find a boyfriend or a girlfriend or at least friends to entertain you, better than trying to bother someone who ignores you. And regarding the babe thing? it's sarcastic, I would date you not even in a million years ;) not my type. Your entire 'point' here is irrelevant. It's not the first time you attempt to attack what I say so I don't really care about a hater. That's how life is there, your too-open-minded-american-comments ain't gonna change anything. The only rude person here is you, and consider yourself reported :) Open minded I am, and if you're going to criticize me for that, maybe you should look at the woman you're at this website for the woman releasing songs about love and acceptance, the woman telling everyone in the arena to 'get their dicks out', the woman dressing up as a man to an awards show. I don't understand how you can like her if you aren't open minded, but okay.
