The song is such a grower. I've been listening to this non stop and I really dont like trap kind of music.

The video is the definition of ICONIC.

She really overshadowed Rihanna lol...

Urban. Not ratchet. Don't be like that please. I'm glad she is catering to a more urban audience. I was thrown off when she first dropped her last album but i think its great now. And its funny how people criticized her for cultural appropriation but then turn around and call her ratchet when she embodies someone or a group of people in her own race. (that last sentence wasn't directed to you)

When did I criticize her for cultural appropriation? :laughga:

Lololololololololololololololololololol bye

Well if you read what i said, you would know that i wasnt referring to you in that part. I said the last sentence wasn't directed to you. It's called comprehension :toofunny:. Or is what I'm saying to ratchet for you too? (this is sarcasm or satirical wit if you can't comprehend that either)

I'm more impressed the second day

In other news, RacistDaily rears its ugly head again :green:

Ever since she's put out BEYONCÉ she wants to become the next ratchet queen with these wack lyrics and tacky trap instrumentals

Beyonce what's happening to your image? :awkney:

Ugh, please get out of here with your problematic views.

Being Urban is not being ratchet, it's black culture and she's embracing it.

This song is honestly a bit iconic. It is unlike anything put out by a major artist in recent years and it's video represents so many different things. I understand why a lot of y'all don't like the song, but you have to open your mind to it.

And to the white people saying it's "ratchet" or "too urban"...this song wasn't really made for you. Bey is clearly trying to represent the black female population and celebrate their culture right now. If you don't like the song, then good, go listen to Irreplaceable or something. Don't bash a song that an entire group of people (+ many others) are enjoying right now.

And get ready to eat your words when she slays this song at Halftime tonight.

First Rihanna and now this MESS.

Right, this laziness they call showbizness.  Waiting for Gaga to put out a real pop-culture-breakthrough-bop.
