Edonis 28,624 Posted January 28, 2016 Share Posted January 28, 2016 It's kind of funny though that so many people on here are so quick to jump at Rihanna and her "flop" era (remember that the album sales aren't even being calculated yet,etc.) but get so upset when people call ARTPOP a "flop" ? Now I'm not saying you can't call out the messiness of this era or have criticism for the music, etc. (I mean, I myself made a thread earlier about salvaging the ANTi era and I also don't really like the album) but the constant discussion of negativity and whatnot of this album is kind of getting old. Say what you want about her not being a song writer or that "Great" of a singer, but she has surely proved her icon status. She can flop with the next 6 albums and it wouldn't matter. Is just that there was a big possibility of it happening and therefore is was better for Rihanna to hide this by giving it away for free. But who knows?
