How personally damaging Linda Perry was to Gaga

Wrongfully discrediting Linda's relevance in the music industry doesn't change the fact that Gaga appreciated her music, I don't know why some of you are bringing that up.

Anyway, I can imagine Gaga feeling disappointed. There was obviously ill-intent and resentment behind Linda's words and it must be really hard for Linda to personally apologize to Gaga at this point, she might have already done that, I don't know (I'm not taking the twitter apology into consideration, because even though it was necessary for the rest of twitter to shut up, it wasn't exactly personal). And even if they manage to be friends again, it never goes back to normal.

If it was David Bowie or Freddie Mercury, than I think she would be heartbroken. I don't think Linda perry even matters in lady gaga's mind :flop:

"I'm so grateful because [Tony is] always looking out for me. And I'm very honored that he was here tonight to present this award to me. And I'm very honored that Linda Perry was here, and I consider them to be true and two huge influences in my life that I hope anyone that's here that a true dream has been made come true because these artists supported another artist, and I'm very grateful that I'm here,"

I don't think she cares as much as her fans care, lol.

She says that about every artist :emma: and I don't recall gaga referencing Linda perry (or being aware of Linda ) in her early works. (The fame, the fame monster, or btw) :koons:. "What's up" by 4 non-blondes is a well known song, but not many know that Linda perry wrote it :awkney:

Im sure it did tbh. I mean how could it possibly not? An icon and someone she looked up to straight up attacked her credibility by saying she was ploying her way to an oscar and then claimed she doesnt deserve it. thats an enormously degrading insult and it could not have possibly not affected her. she'll pick up and go on knowing she does deserve it and indeed was involved in the creation of the song enough to warrant the nomination, but its still going to sting majorly. just as grace and madonna stung as well. youve just got to keep going.

Jesse Pinkman

Madonna trashed the most iconic song of her career on national television. I'm sure she can handle a Linda's tweets lol

It's science, bitch

personally I dont think shes ever actually referenced her in her past work. maybe possibly in the back of her head when writing her grand ballads? but musically no. it wasnt until she covered whats up that I ever even saw her publicly acknowledge linda.

and tbh everyone knows she wrote and performed that song. you realize linda perry was the vocalist for 4 non blondes right?

It's never a pleasant thing, but she has been through so much worse ****...I really think that at this point she doesn't care anymore...

ATTENTION: (bad) jokes and sarcasm are still a thing, so don't take everything I say literally. Thank you.

Bad Bromance

I don't really know, tbh.  Like many here have said, Gaga has been hurt by so many people that have inspired her so I'm sure she didn't take Linda's Twitter rant to heart.  At first, I'm sure she did, but I think she's over it now.

One things certain, though.  Gaga may not cover any of her songs in the future as she seems to be the type to forgive but not forget people's betrayals.

I don't care what you think about unless it is about me.
