I don't think it will win anyway, not because of Linda. I went back and listened to the song and it's average. It has a nice message, but it's not a great Oscar-worthy song. Kind of basic and repetitive. The thing I liked about the song was Gaga's vocal delivery. That's what moved me, elevating an average song that had a good message. It's just that Gaga has bad luck sometimes and I wouldn't want for Diane or Gaga herself to stand up to her and then this issue gets even more blown out of proportion and possibly be detrimental for Gaga and Diane. At the end of the day, Linda apologized and other publications like Billboard have stated that Linda has made an apology to Gaga. I'm glad this little debacle was resolved in less than 24 hours, tbh.
