"Earned It" is a fantastic song but when it comes down to it it's a song about sex used in a movie mostly about sex and seduction adapted from a sub-par novel that sort of reads like Twilight fanfiction lol. And "Writing's On the Wall" is good too but I feel it's not the most impacting Bond movie song. That's just me though. I'd say the biggest competition would be Earned It but I think it being from Fifty Shades of Grey may keep voters from choosing it. If it had to come down to winning either the Oscar or Grammy, i really hope she wins this Oscar. Both cause it deserves it for its message and Diane deserves to finally get that Oscar win after so many nominations and no win. But hey if she can win BOTH the Oscar and Grammy then yes please! I don't think there's a pressure on her to top it, really.. I'm sure she will perform and everybody will claim it as the best performance of the night, as usually happens with Gaga doing her magic. Zilla 13,384 Posted January 15, 2016 Share Posted January 15, 2016 I was on the way to work this morning, and Elvis Duran did an extremely awesome PSA for TIHTY and was talking about how the song had virtually no promo (and said that we worship her so we knew, I laughed) and he talked about what the song meant and he played the dance version. People started calling in and saying how that song has really opened their eyes to so many things, it was beautiful I'm so happy for Gaga like I really hope she gets it, the song has such an immense meaning and you can tailor it to so many different things, which makes it relatable to a wide spectrum of people.
