And it is also various obvious that like One Direction, many artists are being manufactured to sell lots of records while their artistic ideas are put aside. Iwontell 7,312 Posted December 21, 2015 Share Posted December 21, 2015 I think any artist that has been ushered into the industry by a big company (as opposed to those who work for years and grow by themselves until they're hired as what they already are) is going to be plagued by that...not to say that there can't be any authenticity on what they're doing, it's just that there are so many people they answer to that it's almost certain there will be more compromises than normal (let's face it, everyone compromises a bit)... It doesn't mean they can't really like the final product and actively contribute to it, get 300% behind it and sell it in the most authentic way...Spice Girls, Nsync and so many other groups and artists clearly had people above them telling them what to do and still didn't feel contrived...
