She did so much this year, come to think of it Amazing.

I personally loved her rendition of 'If I Ever Lose My Faith', like i kept listening non-stop. But her performances were all so good it's hard to rank them accordingly

Should've known the overrated Oscars one would win.

I mean, it's great, but what makes it so much better than the others?

Imo vocally it's better than the others by far.I almost cried while watching it for the first time,I was so proud

I cried too, esp. at the end when all the celebs stood up Meryl's face.

I don't really get the vocal thing, so probably just a matter of taste She hits higher notes than usual, yes, but that doesn't mean her singing is as exceptional as other performances imo. I Wish and New York, New York are better to me because she shows absolutely perfect vocal control.

That red iconic suit is still stuck in my head 

I simply loved it because of the effortless performance 

And that last note she hit  ( "Me down " part ) made one of best friends ( a professional singer, who performs at mini-concerts  ) tear up and get goose bumps

Or do you mean her versions of it in the Cheek to Cheek Tour? I didn't include it because we had a professional recording in 2014 already.

I voted sound of music because even after stanning for gaga for years, I honestly never thought she would pull off something like that, and it honestly took me by surprise. I think what I liked most about it was that when Gaga said "Think you know me? Think again" it sounded cute but sorta clichéd, and during the oscars she really made the statement come true. That was truly amazing.

But in terms of performance there's this combo of of neat videos that I think showcase the best of Gaga, proving her unquestionable talent as the best entertainer in the industry:

SoM performance was good but it feels like the best because it was unexpected. However, gaga lacked control and support, especially towards the end where she just uses vibrato to cover up her pitching mistakes. My vote goes to I Wish.

Gaga's best performance was probably the medley, but Imagine is my personal favorite this year.  I listen to it all the time.
