Bieber knocks Adele of Single Charts- Sorry #1

Featured Posts

"Justin Bieber’s “Sorry” reclaims the throne on the Billboard + Twitter Top Tracks chart dated Dec. 19, rising 3-1 for its sixth nonconsecutive week in command. Its six-week tally matches Bieber’s “What Do You Mean?” for the longest running No. 1 since the chart debuted in May 2014. “Mean,” Bieber’s previous single, held for six straight frames in September and October.

“Sorry” rebounds following Bieber’s performance of the track during his Dec. 6 set at London’s Capital FM Jingle Bell Ball. In addition, British pop band The Vampscovered the hit in the BBC Live Lounge on Nov. 30. The live offerings helped “Sorry” reach 26 million U.S. streams for the week ending Dec. 3, according to Nielsen Music, and aided in Bieber’s 940,000 Twitter mentions for the week ending Dec. 6, according to Next Big Sound. The superstar keeps his No. 1 hold on the Social 50 chart, his 125th cumulative week leading the tally.

As “Sorry” returns to the summit, it knocks Adele’s “Hello” to No. 2 after one week in charge. The “Sorry”/“Hello” combination marks the fifth week that the two songs head the list, dating back to their debuts (at Nos. 1 and 2, no less) on the Nov. 7-dated chart. Though “Hello” falls, Adele’s 25 retains its Billboard 200 crown with a record second week surpassing 1 million sales. The massive sales week powers the British superstar to a second straight (and fourth overall) week at No. 1 on the Billboard Artist 100 chart."

Well first of all I want to say that I bought 25 and after 4 times of trying I didn't manage to get tickets for her tour...

But is it just me or is the Adele hype already disappearing, I don't know, but I don't think that her singles of 25 will have the same "Someone like you" "Rolling in the deep"  - impact... Ofcourse I know that Hello has broken more records but I think that was just more a thing of her "comeback" instead of the material itself..

But I love 25, Adele and Hello
