im pretty sure we know exactly how she is. she was born and raised in australia and came hear not too long ago and tried to become a pop artist but flopped so then she took on some privileged gangster persona. and teh slave master song is from d--gs

And her name is not annoying :emma: it's actually her stage name. Erica was changed to Erykah (same pronunciation) and She adopted a surname of Badu because it is her favorite jazz scat sound (Take notes C2C fans) and unlike Iggy, Erykah Badu has an official title not a fanmade one. She is "The First Lady of Neo-soul" and "The Queen of Neo-soul".
