Someone post this on ATRL please

:D

Through four weeks, “American Horror Story: Hotel” was averaging a 3.7 rating in adults 18-49 and 6.9 million viewers overall in Nielsen’s “live plus-3” estimates, up 7% in the demo and 1% above the scores of “Freak Show” one year ago. It wins its Wednesday timeslot in same-day demo ratings over the broadcast network dramas (“Nashville,” “Chicago PD” and “Code Black”). The Oct. 7 premiere of “Hotel” was the second most-watched telecast in FX history, behind only the premiere of “AHS: Freak Show.”

Even with ratings taken out of account, I've never seen American Horror Story have so much real life and online exposure, everyone is talking about it.

Exactly what I said weeks ago. More people watch shows they recorded, instead of live. It increases with every year...that's why you have to look at the ratings for shows that were watched later.

The best way to look at ratings is to look at their ranking, instead of the actual numbers. As TV viewership changes, the ratings for live shows are going to reflect that.

At the end of the day I wonder why we care so much for the ratings, all it matters is to enjoy the show itself and nothing more to be honest

Well we can choose not to enter a 'Ratings' forum. If you aren't interested, just don't enter it. What's the point of opening a thread, reading it and then commenting when you have no interest? Seems like a lot of effort for something you dont care about.

OT: Slay AHS

I'm interested in the show ofc and not just because of Gaga and I want the show to go well.

My comment was general not for this thread only.I think that sometimes we care more for ratings and forget enjoying the show that's why I'm trying to say.

Wow, American Horror Story doing well. Truly, a shock. Did not see this coming. Year of the underdog.
