Let's forget about the usual fame, fashion, d--gs, s-x, alcohol, clubs songs that she sung about many times already. Yeah they're fantastic but let's discuss about new things! Personally, I'd like those subjects need to be sung : Abandonment - Gaga never sung about the feeling of abandonment, this theme would be really fitting especially for the context from early 2013. Maturity - I believe she needs to sing about growing up, but still remaining the girl with her values. Shallowness - She definitely should make a song that denounces it. And please, don't come at me by saying she's superficial and fake because of her past antics, that's just artistry and theatricality. That'd be great to hear an anti-conformist song from her. Deception - A song with this theme would be very relatable and it also fits Gaga's life... You knoooow 2013 and 2014. Can't think about more right now. What about you? Discuss! Sorry, didn't mean to draw attention away from your thread but yours focuses on the "DON'T" part, unlike my thread. gagzus 15,926 Posted November 8, 2015 Share Posted November 8, 2015 As a pop singer there's not much else she can sing about and sell well or interest non-stans really than she already has, BTW's themes were stretch and the overcomplicated themes of ARTPOP (or her overcomplicating them shall I say) lost interest. But if what she said is true and she makes happy music because she's sad (TF being made when she was a struggling artist, BTW made out of the sadness from fans and gaga remembering growing up & AP from all the BTS bulls--t) then she's been happy so I see a darker album but i'm not sure. Something that'll surprise her fans and the GP. Also, I know this is off topic, but I want at least one dark song that sounds happy, but grades into darkness when it's finishing, if that makes sense.
