Sister 9,907 Posted November 6, 2015 Share Posted November 6, 2015 I do not care at all about the chart numbers and awards, it is fun when it is happening for Gaga, but it does not prove anything more for me than if she never had those things happening in her name. As long as Gaga is creating great songs and is in the game, I will be her fan. I do think that she is capable of all of that though, but the listening audience for popstars are very fickle and not very loyal, so you can never tell if they will be supportive or not. Sure, it's great to see Gaga slay the charts and to hear her songs all the time on the radio but to me that's not what makes a great artist. IMO, a great artist is one with whom I have a connection because of their amazing music. As long as the music moves me, that's all that really matters. Gaga has been able to provide great music that I easily connect with every time I listen to it. I don't care what you think about unless it is about me. Well...of course I'm here for good music, but you know what I mean...this time around I want her to be as big as she was during TF+M era. I want a killer lead single like Bad Romance and a successful album. It's about time she returns to the spotlight, let's be honest, she been virtually non existent to the GP since 2011. It's always a good feeling to here someone bring up Gaga in public. Plus, it will lead to more Gaga happiness, which leads to a better life. I know she deserves it, she just has to want it.
