I don't know if I'm alone here but just imagining her performing and dancing to pop songs with her outrageous outfits, props and dancers seems like a huge reach. Like something that won't likely happen. Despite the fact that we know that LG5 is coming, it still feels like that kind of Gaga won't be back. It just seems by now so much unlike herself to be dancing and performing pop songs like she used to after 2015 and the Cheek To Cheek era. She was still "dancing" but less choreographed and just free and fabulous, which, god knows, makes her look a lot more current and fresh and exciting.I always despised her choreography post-The Fame so I'll be very happy if she just ditches it and focuses on expressing herself in era-appropriate ways instead of desperately hanging on to the "I need to be blond, sing pop music and dance" bs she's been repeating like a dumbass since 2009.I mean, even her recent comments about "the world" expecting stuff from her bug me beyond belief. The world wants her to DITCH the ridiculous gimmicks and have been wanting that since 2010 when her theatrical antics became predictable and boring so I really don't get why she likes to send this fake "I'm so risky deviating from my pop pattern because it's so not done" rationale just to appear innovative, even though she's like 5 years too late. Just imagining Gaga singing and dancing to pop (atleast the way she used to in 2009-2013) seems so awkward. I love showing the Idea of showing 'Gaga's talent, but that doesn't do the job for me, I want her to be legendary in pop music, and that's just the whole package. The look (something that will be remembered), the Voice, the Music and the dancing. That's what you expect from Pop Royalty. I loved the artRave, but even there the dancing seemed so toned down, she wasn't singing often (Donatella Chorus, Aura Chorus was mostly breathing), I think this has something to do that she was just over the whole era and ready for C2C, but IDK.If she want's to carry her POP ICON Legacy she should give us the whole package.I wouldn't call (for example) Adele a POP Icon, she's just an Icon like Mariah Carey or Celine Dion, all three not known for their dancing, but they are Icons. To be a Pop Icon is something different to achieve and I'd always thought that Gaga was going to be one, but she'd really changed the last years.
