Star Wars tickets on sale today, sites are crashing, people freaking out

Ticket sales already started in Europe today and people are freaking out on twitter

This is from the UK, where sellouts have already been reported in many cities

Right now, you can snatch up 2D and 3D tickets for IMAX, Vue, Cineworld and Odeon screenings, though, as ever, the companies involved seem to be having a little trouble coping with demand. While plenty of smug gits have successfully made their bookings, loads of chumps have resorted to filling our Twitter feeds with whiny complaints instead. IMAX screenings in particular seem to have been hit hard by eager Star Wars fans, with the UK's flagship IMAX screen, the BFI IMAX at Waterloo, having to take its booking system offline.

In mainland Europe, some theaters from the Pathe chain have already started selling them (not in mine yet though ) and their sites have also crashed. US tickets go on sale today after the trailer drop during Monday Night Football. Praying for Little USters because it's going to be insane

I have never seen this much slay for a movie. Jurassic World better have enjoyed its top spot while it lasted

I have no idea. From what I understood it's going to be immediately after the trailer premiers on ESPN. I never understood the hype for this franchise. I have never seen the movies but I am sure that even if I do watch them and enjoy them it wold never be as serious as some of these people take their obsession over a movie.
