YES! I added the BR video to my iTunes, and checked the resolution and it says 1920 X 1080

Which means they are upscaled. They are not true HD. They look better than the youtube ones but still they are FAR from HD. If I take a 360p video and re-render it in 1920x1080 and upload it, it doesn't make it HD. Common sense, people...

They are not upscaled, you can't see big pixels playing full screen. If they were upscaled they would look pixelated, they're just ripped in HD from sources that I don't know because I didn't upload them. We won't ever get a higher quality version of BR, and that Judas version looks amazing. Watch Applause and you can even see Gaga's pores. Just Dance looks better than if it was upscaled, and what about Poker Face? even though it's 4:3 still much better and sharpened than the VEVO version.

I think you are confusing Vevo on YouTube and VEVO.com. VEVO.com has all the music videos in 1080p, the ones that were shot and released in 1080p will look really good, now the older ones that weren't shot/didn't get released in HD they are still going to be uploaded in 1080p but that doesn't make them HD. The quality of the video is better than the youtube versions but they are still upscaled. Upscaling doesn't always mean getting big pixels. It depends on how it was upscaled. Try downloading Videophone from VEVO.com which has the 1080p version. That's a bad upscale.

If you don't know where they were ripped from then how can you be so sure that they were not ripped from VEVO.com? I downloaded all the files and I compared them to the ones I have. As I stated in my last post. The Fame era videos + Bad Romance they are NOT TRUE HD. They are upscaled by VEVO. They are the best quality we have of these at the moment but again, they are not true HD. About Bad romance, we don't know if it was shot in HD or not, if they ever decide put a re-master bluray of her music videos, we'll find out, but for now we can't know if any of the Fame era music videos were shot in HD. The Judas version I have aka the VEVO.com version in my eyes it's a lot better, unless I have a problem with my eyesight, which I doubt because I always go in depth with the videos I download so I have the best quality available.

 

Now Applause is a MasterRip which is totally different. As far as I know a MasterRip is the file before it gets uploaded on the Internet, which means it's uncompressed/how it was rendered. So of course that one is flawless quality wise.

That was the first way I tried it. and it won't extract. I even tried lower case. maybe it's just my laptop being dumb.
