Will this christmas season feature Gaga vs Katy 2.0

Since it's pretty much confirmed that Katy worked with Max Martin for a probable Christmas album we know that Katy is using this for her next transition era.

now we have Gaga and Tony in the studio again and they have recorded Christmas music before. Gaga is supposed to appear a lot of places in November which will give her plenty of places to promote her next album. Plus, Tony's album underperforming might tell his team that working with Gaga again could get him another number one album/possible Grammy.. Can you see this as a legitimate scenario for the holiday season?

Katy is so irrelevant when you're talking about Gaga. They could not be more different

And Tony wouldn't work with Gaga for sales. They're friends and he saved Gaga's career and love for music 

But I would love a Christmas album

I don't think so.

For starters, I don't feel like Gaga and Tony are recording a whole album that would be released before 2015 is over. Gaga likes to heavily promote work before releasing it. Also, releasing an album now would only get a Grammy nomination for 2017, which may cause the album to be forgotten and thus pointless.

Plus, Katy would probably target a younger demographic, whereas Gaga would target an older one. So no, I don't think Gaga vs Katy 2.0 will be occurring this holiday season.

if that were the case, then  I don't think it would be considered competition against Katy because one would be heavily promoted, and the other would be a small-scale digital release
