Nicole 1,809
Lol this happened at my school. In fact, the store that sells our uniforms literally sold us the "wrong" uniform at one point and the principle expected all the students to go and buy a new uniform from a different store lol despite the fact that it's only the uniform for our winter semester. craig 680
Fascism in America. It's the attitude of freaking prison wardens. Use some common sense, surely a warning would be sufficient for the slightly wrong shade.

PartySick 172,426
exactly! it is the best to just wake up in the morning and not having to think: ok what do I wear today... clothes are on the chair just waiting, I could buy better clothes for the rest of the week because now I have to buy a lot so I go to cheaper shops... but if I only had to have clothes for the weekend and some extra... I would buy the best. Everything is better with a uniform. End. Eh, I always liked going to school in my favorite outfits, wearing my bestie's jacket ('cause he let me ), just really expressing myself with how I looked. It's a double edged sword, yeah, you're clothes are laid out for you and everyone wears the same thing so there's really no bullying about it but all your students look like clones. Where's the individuality? Where's the spirit? Whimsical bitch

Where's the individuality? Where's the spirit? In your personality. You could still express yourself in the evenings, on the weekends and during vacation time...including the summer. It gave you one less thing to worry about during the school day. I remember we all were so upset because they changed it in junior high the year I started, but then we ended up loving it! Then, in high school I missed not wearing uniforms! College was easier, since everyone basically rolled out of bed, pulled their hair up in a ponytail or put a hat on, brushed their teeth, slipped on their flip flops and left for class! ChasingGhosts 726
The American education system is ****ed. Makes me glad I never went to school there and that I've graduated anyway. Shadow 6,697
If certain colors are so important at that school, they should supply students with uniforms. But dress codes are dumb though. Everyone being the same is an illusion. In truth, no one is the same even dressed in the same damn clothes. Why can't schools focus on education, the most crucial function of a learning institution? Stand in the light, cast your shadow.
