Carly Fiorina overtakes Trump in New Hampshire

Presidential candidate Carly Fiorina is leading the GOP field in New Hampshire, a new poll finds.

A Voter Gravity poll released Friday shows Fiorina with 22 percent support among Granite State GOP primary voters. She has a 4-point edge over her nearest competitor, bigwig billionaire Donald Trump, who has 18 percent support.

Retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson nets 10 percent support, with the poll finding no other Republican White House hopeful cracking double digits in the first-in-the-nation primary state.

I'm a non-affiliate but the Republicans this time around are ridiculous and Hillary is a liar. Bernie is my choice because of his consistency and values.

im surprised ud say that... other than Donald trump and maybe a couple others...

 

most of the Republican candidates are quite down to earth and easy going and out to discuss issues etc (as u may have seen on the debate for instance). they are less of that in your face than usual which i know the left tend to complain about (i myself am not a fan of that particular aspect of republicans)

 

oh and bernie for me almost seems anti economy to me. i feel like if he won America would turn into socialist Greece and fail

I'm socially and economically liberal - in general. However, I don't worship the feet of all liberal politicians just because they're liberal. That being said, I like Carly. Substantially less than Bernie, but significantly more than the rest of the Republican field. 

Donald Trump, Ben Carson, Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, Mike Huckabee, Chris Christie - they're all sort of typical contemporary Republicans (in my view) and all of them seem to flaunt their conservatism around. Maybe I've missed it, but I don't think Fiorina has ever tried to flaunt that around. She seems more flexible to me. While I disagree with her stance on same-s-x marriage and abortion, she's not radical, she believes in climate change, she's in favor of allowing babies brought here illegally to attain citizenship, and I think that's why so many left-wingers like her or prefer her to the other candidates. She's not trying to shut down the government over Planned Parenthood (Ted Cruz), she's not proposing a massive wall between Mexico and the United States (Donald Trump), and she doesn't come across as a try-hard bull****ting typical politician (the rest of the field). 

She's still a Republican. I disagree with her on several fundamental issues (same-s-x marriage, abortion, marijuana, the economy, etc.) But should we have to have a Republican, I'd like it to be her.

I also like Carly as far as the GOP goes. But this argument is the same as "you can drink water, just from THAT water fountain, not this one". Same s-x marriage now has more than a majority support in America, its only contentious with a percentage of the politically religious-right at this point. The Supreme Court has tried it. There is absolutely no reason to go backwards with the important progress that has been made.

The "Same-s-x marriage is a new phenomenon!" thing is such bull****. Ancient Athens had same-s-x marriage. Ancient Mesopotamia had same-s-x marriage.  Several Native American tribes had same-s-x marriage, and viewed it as sacred. Was it as common as opposite-s-x marriage? No, but to say it didn't exist and is something completely new to us is ignorant and inaccurate. 

Exactly, and she's not making a big thing about the same-s-x marriage thing. She's not on the side of Kim Davis. She's not a religious zealot, and I think that's why most people like her. Far more moderate on social issues.

i dont think its the same... marriage has been around for a very long time with generally the same ideal and for many people has a deep spiritual connection also... this has been the case for a very long, long time... The concept of "marriage" was not created with the idea of two ppl of the same s-x together

 

all of a sudden people wanna change that concept and what it can accept... i can understand the point of view of religious people who have long held marriage with a belief not liking that

 

im not saying i agree with that belief, im not saying America should go back... but im saying i understand the point of view and allowance of civil unions that give full legal rights is actually extremely accomodating from a conservatives standpoint i think

 

U have to take in mind... Liberals see things new way... but just as conservatives shouldnt force their views on others, liberals too can be pushy sometimes... I see it all the time...
