I think its the whole movie is an a--logy for LGBT kids, the kid being human while his father and everyone around him is a monster.. so he's different and the father can't understand his son but he tries his best to love him.. and thats why BTW is the main song, because its the modern Gay anthem

I just wish Hollywood had the balls to make animated movies with real LGBT kids or parents tho..
