I've got an "F" and a "C" and I got a "K" too And the only thing that is missing is a bitch like "U"

That documentary was not a thing which Katy did for commercial purpose (or solely for the most part). It was a thing which she clearly did for KatyCats, and that was her main goal with it.

LMAO, you actually think I Kissed a Girl, California Gurls, Teenage Dream, Peacock, E.T., Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.), Dressin Up, Legendary Lovers, Walking On Air, Birthday, and This Is How We Do are songs (and videos) that little kids would listen to and like, or their parents will find appropriate for their children?

One of the Boys, Waking Up In Vegas, Thinking of You, Mannequin, Ur So Gay, If You Can Afford Me, Lost, Self Inflicted, I'm Still Breathing, Fingerprints, I Think I'm Ready, A Cup of Coffee, Circle the Drain, The One That Got Away, Who Am I Living For?, Pearl, Not Like The Movies, Part of Me, Wide Awake, Unconditionally, Dark Horse, Ghost, Love Me, This Moment, Double Rainbow, By the Grace of God, Spiritual, It Takes Two, and Choose Your Battles + her unreleased collection are definitely not songs meant for or targeted at little kids sonically, lyrically, visually, musically and thematically. As for Hot N Cold and Firework, people from different ages love those songs and play them.

On the other hand, a lot of little kids love Taylor and her music and listen to her songs a lot. You'll find more little kids who are attracted to Taylor and prefer her over Katy, actually. Parents also find Taylor as a role model and her music more appropriate for their children. So let's not even go there.

If its a documentary produced by the artist or their team with the sole purpose of selling and advancing their brand, then yeah you can bet your ass that documentary is not going to be candid at all. Part of Me was basically a commercial. The concert and backstage scenes were really good though.

Exactly! They fixed it up and edited to extremes in preperation to send it to theaters. We already know they edited the whole divorce scene to make Katy look "courageous". POM wasn't some candid, behind the scenes documentary, filmed by some person with a handheld camera. Lol it was edited and designed for movie theaters...a movie all the little girls and their mommies could go to.

:lmao::lmao::lmao:

I love Katy but lbr, are you really going to argue this? :toofunny: That parents find Taylor more safe and wholesome I 100% agree on, but you cannot say this after Katy served those Sesame Street visuals for her half time performance and her tour, as amazing as they were. Does Taylor has fans that are children? Yes, as any other pop girl, including Katy has. But don't make it out to be as if the whole fan base hangs out at the kindergarten please. Taylor has said repeatedly that she feels pressure from the fanbase to deliver good lyrics as its the one thing they love the most about her music. I doubt children care about that.

who will love me when the night is over

Actually, the California Dreams Tour was filmed ever since it started. The concerts, rehearsals, Katy in the city or the country where the shows were taking place, the backstage scenes, everything. There are official videos on YouTube of different scenes from the CDT. Katy said in an interview in 2012 that when she embarked on the tour in 2011, she wanted to film everything, so if there was a moment she would be able to save it and show it to the world. I don't think the documentary was really artificial or fake. Some parts maybe, maybe were edited or fixed, but I don't think the whole entire thing was staged or made up.

Tays music is not like mozart u know :awkney: if you're trying to say Tay's music is less generic than Katy then you must be delusional tbh, even when i'm not a fan of Katy i can say TD is far better, Teenage Dream song >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> 1989, you're the one who shouldn't compare the obnoxious & basic 1989 with TD tbh :awkney:

Except Taylor's 3rd and 4th singles weren't nearly as successful as Firework and ET.

it's to be expected when it has double the album sales. :poordat: most people already have the song that way

Take a moment to think of just flexibility, love, and trust~

Okay, but they both made a fresh version of the 4th single with a rapper.

ET ft. Kanye outside Bad Blood ft. K.L. I think that holds even if you factor out declining itunes sales 2011 to 2015.

eh maybe, but this is the new era of streaming and radio where Bad Blood has broken quite a few records. I mean E.T. was more popular but it's not like it's some huge difference.
