I see stronger sales in the first week considering she has done a slew of things to create likeability again. I also think AHS is going to really help. With short and quick but massive promo, I see 750k-1mill sales first week. If Drake can shift 560k as a rapper, Gaga can easily achieve these numbers. She can't have competition though, tbh. I think ARTPOP tanked bc Miley, Britney, Katy, and Kanye all had big album's drop within a month of it. Moms are gonna pick Katy over Gaga any day for their tweens and teens and 20 year olds were gonna pic the controversial miley over Gaga at that time period. It split the pop buyers market up. If ARTPOP had been released in early 2013 instead it would have easily moved 500k+ copies. It's really just timing and marketing and math tbh.

She would have sold a lot regardless, but don't forget that she took her music off Spotify. I'd bet get sales would be at least a million less in the U.S. if not for that.

And it's as clear as day to see that album sales have declined massively. Using one album for an argument does not prove otherwise.

I'm going to be realistic if she has good amazing music again and a huge monster 1st hit single she score 400k imo the most in its first week however in the long run ww I think sell around 3-4 million albums
