depends on what pop music you want really, do you want radio friendly pop music or something that's pop but slightly edgy like BTW, I mean I can tell you the "she's deffo doing a rock album" fans are gonna be disappointed tbh & so are the ones who think it won't be some form of electronic since RedOne is now mainly an electronic producer since his work on TF & Giorgio (if they actually manage to collab) is a dance-disco producer so there's bound to be at least one 100% electronic song and some songs will have pitch or vocal correction in some way or another I bet, not as much as ARTPOP though I bet.

I personally want her to do TF 2.0, with fun upbeat electronic music with hip-hop and r&b influences, a little disco is ok to, I just want a fun record that's not too complex message wise tbh. But if she doesn't do that eh I won't be mad or disappointed, I mean i was hoping & expecting BTW to be a stripped/ballad song & most of the album to be like that and she came out with an electronic pop-rock album with new wave, house & dance influences lol.

I'm really excited about the info we have, I do want a pop/dance album but it doesn't need to be like the radio (which ****ing sucks right now). I'd want it to be a mix of commercial and experimental like she's done with BTW and AP. With Redone on the album and the possibility of having Moroder and DJWS on the album, I think I'm gonna be very happy. I don't want pop for the charts, I just want pop (electro and EDM to be more specific) because that's my favorite genre and Gaga makes the best of it.

i'd be lying if I didn't want at least one song crafted as a hit that I can bop to with my friends, one that sparks a cultural trend ala anaconda or bad romance. I would like more songs like MJH, SHICD, DWUW, J&D and Donatella.

I think she probably will.. Personally, I hope it will be a solo album w/out Tony Bennett... and that she waits a few years... Maybe in 3 to 5 years she should do another jazz album....

But who knows! What if she decides that jazz is her genre and that's what she does for the next 10 years of her career?

I think she will do multiple genres including rock, but I'm guessing that another jazz album with Tony will happen within the next couple of years ... imo.  In the concert last night at Bethel (Woodstock) she said two interesting things.  She said something to the effect that jazz is her calling, and she said that she has been singing jazz for 10 years with the combo that was on stage with her.  Pop fans that want Gaga to go back to her roots should realize that her roots are jazz, not pop.  It's exciting that we have no idea what to expect from Gaga next.

Well, with Redone, DJWS and Moroder on the project (and of course, Lady Gaga herself who does a lot of the work), I'm sure they're will be hit songs on the album. All of the people on this album have written and produced masterpieces. So if radio will accept Gaga, I think the songs will do very well. Her Circus era is coming.

I wish we could just have a little control over her sound & looks for one album it'd be fun haha remember in 2012 when she was considering letting fans design and pick all her looks throughout ARTPOP and have one direct a video

This album was also a utter mess that only the craziest of fans pretended to like so they could be a "loyal little monster!!!!".

speak for yourself, i do like jazz, if i don't like something i don't pretend it :kissga:

My thoughts exactly, this mess of an era shouldn't have even had a tour, it should've just stayed a side project.

It paved the way for her to have a career-highlight moment at the Oscar's, more jazz records as she ages as an artist, and potentially many movie soundtrack songs in the future.

totally.

personally, i would be MOST stoked if she did a whole album of soul / funk in the vein of that Stevie Wonder performance she did. That was - for me - my favorite performance of many, many months... even more so than the Imagine & the Sound of Music performances...

That would be good, or anything else she does.  Her talent transcends genre. Most importantly, she should do what makes her happy.

I think this is a gross underestimation of what Little Monsters can genuinely like, and this is coming from someone who isn't a big fan of jazz.

It's not really the fact that it was jazz, just the type of it. If she'd done original, Allie Hughes-styled jazz songs it'd be my favourite Gagz album ever.

I do agree that an original route would've been better instead of covering jazz songs that have already been done by many other people.

Good.

I'm not a fan of old-school jazz, and I haven't been paying much attention to the C2C tour

so this era felt nonexistent to me.
