Jjang 2,262
#NotGuilty Ariana Grande will not have to face legal repercussions for her recent bout of "deliberate food tampering," as the Riverside County Sheriff's office put it. According to a statement from the sheriff's office, Wolfee Donuts elected not to press charges against the singer and backup dancer Ricky Alvarez after they were caught on camera licking donuts on the shop's counter. http://www.billboard.com/articles/columns/pop-shop/6627374/ariana-grande-donutgate-no-charges

LoveandMagic 1,731
I think this whole thing is so over blown, but I also think she should at least apologize to the donut shop and their customers and offer to pay the cost of the donuts. Just repeat to yourself, "It's just a show. I should really just relax."

Chic 20,830
People act like this is the most inexcusable thing. They'll do anything to blow this out of proportion, seriously. Since when did licking donuts become an abominable sin? How many teenagers vandalize, steal, whatever and get excused because they're kids? If these people want everyone to stop getting so pissed off in a politically correct world, why are they losing their **** over a donut? What, is she gonna be transferring HIV nationwide with her tongue? At most, maybe the flu? From a healthy individual on tour? Get the **** outta here This brings the New York out in me I swear
Ambrosia 3,775
I haven't totally been following the story, but did she ever just simply offer to reimburse the shop owner for the spoiled donuts? I think that, along with a brief apology to the owner, would have been sufficient. This has been blown out of proportion. Riot Poof 2,236
In a sense, this donut shop was partially responsible for Donutgate because they left their donuts all out in the open like that. I'm just like at both parties. I'm not a woman. I'm not a man. I am something that you'll never understand.

I for one do not want to worry if the food I'm about to eat was spit on or licked by another person.... Saliva can spread a lot of different pathogens I don't understand why you are so okay with eating something another person contaminated with bodily fluids...
