Now they are finally making a Goosebumps movie and it honestly looks AWFUL. If anyone remembers the Goosebumps show, they will remember it being SCARY. Sure it was aimed at kids and wasn't full out horror movie level scary, but it did have creepy elements to it. This new movie isn't even TRYING to be scary! It could have some jumpscares and scary moments they're keeping secret. I'm also kinda tired of people saying "When I was a kid, Goosebumps was actually scary!" when it really never was scary. Jase 13,385 Posted July 12, 2015 Share Posted July 12, 2015 as for it being scary, well, they've got to stay true to the original episodes (and I'm glad they are), but that means including garden gnomes coming alive, and obviously you can't have a serious film which tries to scare...with evil garden gnomes in 2015.
